Community Marketing Revolution Is Now Community Revenue
I've got some news to share: I've renamed my company from Community Marketing Revolution to Community Revenue.
This isn't just a rebranding exercise. It reflects an evolution in my own thinking about the role that community can play in a business.
When I started Community Marketing Revolution, I was focused on helping content creators and media organizations use community as a marketing strategy. The idea was that bringing people together could help them grow their audiences, build loyalty, and generate more revenue.
I still believe that. But over time, I've come to believe that community is much more than a marketing tactic. It is a business model in its own right.
Instead of trying to plug community into your existing revenue model, what if bringing people together provided an entirely new revenue stream?
For years, content creators and media organizations have been told that the path to success is to create more content, attract a larger audience, and find ways to monetize that attention. But I've witnessed firsthand how this approach burns people out by putting them on a never-ending content treadmill.

Community Revenue offers another path: building a business around the relationships people form and the value they create together, rather than relying entirely on growing your audience and producing more content.
That's the idea behind the new name, and it's where I'll be focusing my work going forward.

And there's a book on the way!
I'm taking these ideas a step further by writing a book about Community Revenue, which I hope to publish in 2027.
The book will explain why the traditional audience growth model is becoming less reliable and offer a practical framework for building a community-driven business.
I'm still writing it, but if you'd like to hear about the book as it develops, you can sign up here:

Thanks for being part of this journey. I'm excited about what's ahead.
